  • Welcome to the Depression, Anxiety, and Stress (DAS) Lab at UBC!

We are working to better understand the onset, presentation, and course of depression and anxiety disorders in adolescents and adults. We are particularly interested in why some individuals experience depression and anxiety in response to stress and why others do not.

  • Contribute to the DAS Lab

The success of our research is thanks to the individuals who participate in our studies and the efforts of our research team. Learn more about contributing to the work we are doing as a participant or lab member.

Welcome to the Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Lab!

Welcome to the Depression, Anxiety, and Stress (DAS) Lab at UBC! We are working to better understand the onset, presentation, and course of depression and anxiety disorders in adolescents and adults. We are particularly interested in why some individuals experience depression and anxiety in response to stress and why others do not. We have a number of projects underway designed to answer these questions by investigating cognitive, emotional, and biological responses to stress and negative affect.

The success of our research is thanks to the individuals who participate in our studies and the efforts of our research team. Learn more about contributing to the work we are doing as a participant or lab member.

We are located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam).
