- Conducting literature searches through databases including PsycINFO and PubMed
- Recruiting participants through in-person (flyers) and online channels (Kijiji, Craigslist, Internet forums)
- Running in-person and online studies. RA’s have in person shifts.
- Attending biweekly lab meetings where RAs take part in the research process and share input
- Attending biweekly Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee meetings with other research assistants, graduate students, postdoctoral fellow(s), and Dr. LeMoult
- Creating, editing, and piloting surveys through Qualtrics
- Clinical phone screen interviewing for potential participants
- Data transcribing, coding, cleaning and reviewing
- Connecting with our graduate students, postdoctoral fellow, or Dr. LeMoult, who can answer any questions you may have about research, graduate studies, etc.
- Gaining exposure to statistical software (eg. SPSS, R), psychophysiological equipment and software, cognitive task software (eg. E-Prime, Pavlovia), and other software
- Completing BioSafety training
- Gaining exposure to different types of lit searches
- Contributing to meta-analysis studies and publications
