Alison Tracy presented at the APS annual conference in Boston in May 2017. Her findings document the pernicious effects of post-event processing on symptoms of anxiety and depression during students’ transition to university.

We are working to better understand the onset, presentation, and course of depression and anxiety disorders in adolescents and adults. We are particularly interested in why some individuals experience depression and anxiety in response to stress and why others do not.

On July 1, 2016, the Department of Psychology welcomed Dr. Joelle LeMoult as Assistant Professor in the clinical area.
